Niella Belbo
Located 785 metres above sea level, Niella Belbo is high in the hills overlooking the Belbo River where the Alta Valle Belbo Potato grows. A town of Medieval origin, the arches, towers, walls and buildings made of Langa stone are well preserved. The town was frequently visited by Beppe Fenoglio and in the post-war period residents began building new homes downroad, leaving the historic old town virtually intact.
