Serralunga
One of the most famous towns in Barolo, Serralunga derives its name from Sera Longa, the narrow strip of land on which it was built. Serralunga’s history and charm is all in its castle, a dominating feature of the landscape and one of the best-preserved examples of Medieval Italian fortification systems. Today, the town is most famous for its vineyards and production of the world-famous Barolo wine.
